The Social and Health Care College, Social- og sundhedsskolen, is
situated in the northern part of Aarhus, but only 10 minutes from
the E45 highway and the city center.

AIRPORT
Aarhus Airport is 45 minutes from the city center. There are flight
connections from Copenhagen (SAS), Barcelona (RyanAir) and London
Stansted (RyanAir) - and from the 1st of January 2008 also from
Milano (RyanAir). There is a bus coach between the airport and
the city center. Tickets can be bought on the bus. Euro is accepted.
Taxi from the airport is rather expensive.
If you arrive at Copenhagen Airport, you have two options: flight
to Aarhus Airport (½ hour)(SAS) or direct train from Copenhagen
Airport to Aarhus Central Station (3½ hours). Tickets for
the train can be bought at the airport. Second class 40 euro,
first class 60 euro.

TRAINS
There are many train connections from Northern and Central Europa
and from Copenhagen Airport. From the Central Station take bus number
14 to the college. Taxi from the Central Station costs around 15
euro. |

CITY
BUSSES
Bus number 14 runs from the city center to the college – and
busses number 2, 3 and 11 can also be used (get off at the old Water
Tower). Tickets can be bought in ticket machines on the bus (coins
only) – only Danish money is accepted. The price is 18 kroner
– 2,2 euro. A card with ten tickets can be bought in all newspaper
stores. |

There are many hotels in Aarhus, but we recommend three hotels:
Hotel Latour –
mid prices and only 5 minutes from the college, 10 minutes by bus
from city center. |
